Rihanna celebrates 2012 MTV VMA nominations in her own classy way

Sure, no one’s really cared about the MTV Video Music Awards since Britney Spears and Madonna went all girl-on-girl years ago, but the show is still around. The nominations of the 2012 VMAs were announced this morning, and Rihanna leads the pack with five nominations.

Like the classy gal she is, Rihanna celebrated her many nominations with a profanity-laden Twitter party with her fans, the Rihanna Navy.

Tied with Rihanna with five nods is Drake.

The VMAs air live on MTV on September 6 at 8p.m. ET/PT.
