Former Obama czar Van Jones has come out against the proposed strike on Syria, and even went so far as to admit that George W. Bush’s Iraq War coalition was bigger than Obama’s Syria War coalition today. He also acknowledged that “we may have to go around the UN.” Keep that in mind the next time Jones and his fellow libs rail against a Republican president for failing to secure United Nations authorization for a military intervention.
Jones elaborated on his views on Twitter and CNN last night:
Gas attacks on kids were my last straw. Last week, I wanted 2 bomb back. But prayer heals. Back on side of peace now. http://t.co/HDETiahFuO

"Bomb or do nothing" = false choice. Try arms embargo, global coalition, Hague. RT @MrDane1982: Prayer without action falls on death ears?

Some seem unconvinced:
@VanJones68 You mean back on the side of peace for you. But for the kids, more gassing. I'm conflicted, but the status quo isn't peace.

But at the end of the day, if you’re a liberal eventually everything comes down to global warming:
What's the carbon footprint of bombing Syria @vanjones68 ? And if gassing children gets you, consider http://t.co/9f7c2aaVD5
