President Obama is set to hold a press conference this afternoon before leaving for his sweet Hawaiian vacay. There’s been some speculation as to what kinds of questions the president will be asked — assuming he actually takes questions. CNN’s Jake Tapper wants to know what the public would ask if given the chance:
what would you ask POTUS if you were called upon at the presser today?
— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) December 20, 2013
Tapper received plenty of responses:
Who would win in a fight: Phil Robertson or Pajama Boy? RT @jaketapper: what would you ask POTUS if you were called at the presser today?

@jaketapper "Do you fully realize how horrible your social media team is?"

Some basic questions about how government works might be good, too:

@jaketapper what gives you the right to keep changing laws that are passed and on the books?
— TheAnchoress (@TheAnchoress) December 20, 2013
@jaketapper Were you wrong to oppose a bill to prevent a shutdown and delay the mandate?
— Brian Faughnan (@BrianFaughnan) December 20, 2013
@jaketapper Do you wish you'd gone along with the GOP and agreed to delay the individual mandate instead of shutting down the government?

Yeah, how about that new individual mandate delay?
@jaketapper How are YOU able to continue singlehandedly changing a law which you personally labeled as #TheLawOfTheLand ???
— Taxes You Pay (@TaxesYouPay) December 20, 2013
@jaketapper With recent changes to your signature healthcare law made by executive fiat, are you concerned with precedent that you have set?

.@jaketapper "What message are you sending to all the people who signed up on the exchanges? Can they now cancel their plans?"
— RBe (@RBPundit) December 20, 2013
.@jaketapper "SCOTUS ruled the individual mandate is a tax. Can the President waive a tax? On what authority?"
— RBe (@RBPundit) December 20, 2013
@RBPundit @jaketapper What happens to those whose insurance was cancelled but have since registered for more expensive #ACA compliant plan?
— Cyber Otters ? (@CyberOtters) December 20, 2013
@jaketapper The plans that were canceled & called substandard are now okay to renew IF Obamacare is too unaffordable? How bout rest of us?
— LQ America, Let's Get Back to Work!! (@LouiseJune18) December 20, 2013
“The rest of us” just don’t seem to matter to this president.
