Uncomfortable with the idea that the NSA has been secretly collecting phone records from millions of Americans? Don’t be. Sen. Dianne Feinstein wants you to know that it’s all for your own good.

This morning, Sen. Feinstein, who doesn’t believe in honoring Americans’ right to protect themselves, defended the NSA’s surveillance as “protecting America”:

Hold up, Senator. Didn’t President Obama recently declare the War on Terror essentially over?

Evidently, Americans are now the biggest domestic threat. Citizens are understandably repulsed:


Americans deserve protection, all right — protection from government tyranny.
