As Twitchy told you yesterday, actor James Cromwell recently took it upon himself to warn America that “there will be blood in the streets” if the Democrats don’t sweep the midterms and stop Donald Trump.
After finding himself in hot water for those comments, today, Cromwell’s attempting to walk them back:
Not promoting violence, voting against it. You will never see me raising a fist. I’m a pacifist. My words were taken out of context. I’m worried about the blood of the dissent, protesters, more children shot at school, people shot while praying, for who they love and who they are

Out of context? Nice try, James, but the context here is pretty clear:
“If we don’t stop [President Trump] now, then we will have a revolution for real. Then there will be blood in the streets.”
Sounds like James puts the “fist” in “pacifist.”
Typical Hollywood goof backtracking on a statement.
