'Couldn't help herself'! It didn't take long for Bette Midler to break this totally heartfelt 'vow'

Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court hit liberals pretty hard. Bette Midler wanted her fellow lefties to know that she feels their pain but also recognizes the need to rise above the temptation to get nasty:

So many people are hurting so much right now & those who aren’t hurting seem to be deriving a sadistic thrill from the pain of those who are. I wish we were all being more gentle with each other, but maybe that's for another day. I personally vow to be as gentle as I can be now.
