To the rescue! Alex Jones gallantly defends #HurricaneMatthew truther Matt Drudge

Yes. Free speech + global warming + weather reports = they are out to get us.

As Twitchy told you, Matt Drudge has been pushing a bizarre theory that the government is exaggerating the threat posed by Hurricane Matthew in order to help their climate change agenda. But while many people found Drudge’s tweets to be ridiculous — straight-up dangerous — he can take comfort in knowing that there’s at least one voice of reason firmly in his corner:

That’s some unassailable logic, right there. At least these folks think so:

Tampa: calm cloudy, no wind….not expecting anything worse than usual FL thunderstorm & some wind. I call bullshit.

— FreeSpeech (@LibertasLogos) October 6, 2016

I live in Florida and totally agree… this has not lived up to the hysteria from the government weather service.

You mean this hysteria?

Aerial footage shows destruction along Haitian coast after #Matthew. "Barely 1% of houses standing," pilot says. https://t.co/B18Gg2BwXk pic.twitter.com/aSL241P34C

The death toll in Haiti as a result of Hurricane Matthew has soared to 264, the government announces https://t.co/3etm2AqlpG

The @WeatherChannel just aired this unusual message from @TWCBryan, urging evacuations. "This is not hyperbole, and I am not kidding…" pic.twitter.com/tUYYM32hXX

It’s almost as if Jones has no clue what he’s talking about!

You two should get a room.

— Steve (@Whose_yer_Daddy) October 6, 2016

IDK why I continue to be surprised and appalled at the stupidity of you, for lack of a better word, "deplorables."

— burnt toast ⚡ (@fancywhorse) October 6, 2016

@RealAlexJones @DRUDGE freaking nutcases

— Amy (@sweetugagirl) October 6, 2016

Oh well. For what it’s worth, Jones’ buddy at Prison Planet is also defending Drudge:

Matt Drudge will be proven right on the hurricane and you'll all be eating humble pie.

— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) October 6, 2016

Suuuuuuure we will.

You're an idiot, too.

World-class.
