Adam Housley may be a Fox News senior correspondent, but he still has to put up with the same everyday crap the rest of us do. Like parking meters, for example.
This afternoon, he shared a recent experience he had in L.A.:
OK…so in order to make changes…we gotta call em out. Stay with me here…yesterday we went to park on a curb in LA..

several spots were open but the digital meter was flashing "please wait". Clearly is wasn't working & there was no meter anywhere in sight

I have a pregnant wife. I call the number on the meter for "broken meters" and told "well you can park there, but you'll still get a ticket"

I said I have change. I have dollars. I have credit cards. I am willing to pay & my wife is pregnant. The response "nothing I can do"

#onlyinLA does the digital parking meter NOT work and I am responsible enough to call, but still liable. Why have a service number then?

It is completely a racket to steal your money. There…I said it. Cities in this country are extracting money from parkers.

Too bad I am not allowed to go 'Office Space' on the meter. Man that woulda been cool.

We’d’ve loved to see that!
@adamhousley leave a note with your phone number and have her FaceTime so it proves she's pregnant. Gotta love technology LOL.

@Marissa11586 They said leaving a note. Calling it in with my license number and waiting for the meter officer wouldn't work. Huh?
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) January 13, 2015
I am a complete renegade. I parked there anyway. 🙂 No ticket. That woulda…well….just happy it didn't happen
