Things aren’t so sweet today for Li’l Debbie Wasserman Schultz. During a DNC conference call yesterday, she welcomed Annette Capella, just a typical “Medicare recipient from Florida” and Marco Rubio constituent. Here’s the thing, though: Capella is more than that. After some light digging, Palm Beach Post reporter George Bennett discovered that Capella had, in fact, served as state chairwoman for the Democratic Party in St. Johns County. When Bennett asked about that, Wasserman Schultz deferred to Capella, who said that she stepped down and currently serves as state committeewoman. OK then. No doubt that this was just an oversight on Wasserman Schultz’s part.
Don't you ever change, @DWSTweets! Your deceptions are as charming as they are ham-handed: http://t.co/OpchFTtm

Also an oversight? Omitting a chunk of Capella’s comments from the official call transcript. You see, during her shpiel, Capella suggested that Marco Rubio is a liar:
But, shockingly, as blogger Javier Manjarres notes, that passage appears to have been left out of the DNC’s official transcript. They wouldn’t want to look bad or anything.
Why you gotta lie, @DWStweets, why you gotta lie? DNC chairchick omits her deception in transcript! http://t.co/d4K6MKE5 via @thesharktank1
