Obama takes to the podium to blame everyone else, causes disturbance in the Twitterverse

President Obama spoke about energy this morning at Prince George’s Community College in Maryland. In case you missed it, you can view the speech in its entirety here.

He had a big ol’ grin plastered on his face, and why not? He spent the entire time blaming Republicans, conservatives, oil companies, skeptics, industry, and your dog for high energy costs, while he escaped unscathed. And the audience lapped it all up. One spectator reportedly swooned. Again.

What’s amazing, too, is that Obama continues to get away with this sort of thing. He’s used all of these speaking opportunities as campaign stops rather than actually addressing the biggest issues facing the American public. And he’s somehow managed to pass the buck even though it’s been tucked away in his pocket the whole time.
