To mark Earth Day yesterday, Barack Obama took a few moments “to celebrate the courageous, committed young leaders who are stepping up to save the one planet we’ve got”:

Are you, Ed? Are you old enough to remember when we had a president who touted his election victory as “the moment that the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal”?

What exactly did Barack Obama do for eight years, Ed, if climate change is still threatening to destroy the futures of “young people all over the world”? Is this his legacy? A world that only has 12 years to live?
