Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez complains when people criticize her, but without her critics, she’s really got nothing going for her. The minute she loses the spotlight, she’s angling to get it back. And she’ll pay for it with her last shred of dignity if she has to:
The actual fear driving the attacks on my clothes, my checking account, my rent, isn’t that these folks are scared that I shouldn’t represent people in Congress.
It’s fear that they’ve allowed their riches, their privilege, + their bias to put them to a point where they can’t.

It’s not so much fear driving the “attacks” on her as it is her uncanny ability to play the victim card. We’ll grant her that picking on her for her clothes is lame. Picking on her for her ignorance, however, is not. If she wants people to stop pointing out all the dumb things she says, she needs to stop saying dumb things.
That’s a tall order, of course. As is not acting like some poor, put-upon damsel in distress while simultaneously trying to cast herself as a powerful, independent feminist warrior.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t hate being a victim; she revels in it.
If you keep responding to it, they'll keep doing it.?♂️

The girl just can’t help herself.
Um, what

She’s like the only one who doesn’t get the joke. https://t.co/R7Im0dR1jP

She is the joke.
But aren't you just doing the same thing? You're blaming their societal position for their inability to lead just like they're doing to you.

I actually have very serious concerns about your capacity to legislate, and not just be an activist. I think the overall net effect of your career will be seriously divisive. Most working people aren’t socialists.

And what of those that think you come across as a fool, lacking any knowledge whatsoever in basic economics or civics. You won your primary by promising to give away free stuff with no plan to pay, then won election because New York would rather have a fool than a Republican.

I’m definitely not rich but your perspective and the manner in which you spin everything you say which is one pretty awful gaff after another is at minimum ELITIST AND ENTITLED you can’t even acknowledge that you don’t have a good civics education

Parting piece of advice for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez:
Get over yourself. https://t.co/lOZxQhfGwe

She’d be wise to do just that.
