What happens when Nancy Pelosi briefly stops spewing garbage? Debbie Wasserman Schultz is right there to pick up the slack.
At a recent tax reform town hall, Pelosi once again likened more money in Americans’ pocket to a “crumb.” Not to be outdone, Debbie Wasserman Schultz swooped in to take a crap on taxpayers:
Debbie Wasserman Schultz just now:
"I'm not sure that $1,000 goes very far for anyone."

Here’s what she said (via the Washington Examiner):
“Frankly, if you look at the bonuses, which I haven’t heard of a corporate bonus more than $1,000 so far. Which by the way is taxed, so it’s not $1,000. And then you spread $1,000 over the course of the year – to think of about how much that is – of course they get it all at once. But I’m not sure that $1,000 (which is taxed, taxable) goes very for almost anyone.”
It’s even better straight from the horse’s mouth:
What an absolute train wreck.
Every day I get an email from the Sherrod Brown campaign asking for $500 or more. Never mind, guess it won’t go far… https://t.co/PE9FtahQRh

Says the lady who claimed that $2500 in healthcare savings we never got would be "life-changing." https://t.co/vy5NzgLgRM

Yeah, but that was then:

What can she say? She’s evolved.
I get the feeling our so-called "public servants" don't understand how most of their constituents live. https://t.co/vbUOjXI1H1https://t.co/53SYz6YlPh

Nothing makes me happier than seeing @TheDemocrats use the $1,000 is nothing line. It’s like they want Trump to win again!

And again and again and again …
It’s like they’re actively working towards losing every election for the next decade. https://t.co/Z6axvQS0Cv

Well, we certainly won’t stand in their way.
*Please* go with this Pelosi/DWS talking point, Democrats. https://t.co/Q1iXuF2O50
