'BIG IF TRUE': Sorry, Mediaite, but that's definitely NOT Steve Bannon [pic]

Twitter was abuzz this afternoon over news that Steve Bannon was possibly considering a presidential run in 2020:

EXCLUSIVE: Steve Bannon is fed up with Trump—and has privately said he would consider running for president, himself, in 2020 https://t.co/inLHzQIZk2

And Mediaite was on it. Well, sort of:

Actually, maybe President Strawberry wouldn’t be so bad:

Darryl Strawberry 2020 seems like the more likely turn of events here, and not just because of the picture. https://t.co/pqtXGpx3gS

Darryl has always had sound advice, like don't try to have sex with two women at the same time. Basic Northwest-school style courtesy and common sense. A message for the masses. cc @PoliticsReid @BrianReich @lathropd https://t.co/pqtXGpx3gS

Aw, @Mediaite, you deleted the tweet?! Where's your sense of fun?!

We definitely like the original tweet better. And Darryl Strawberry may actually have a shot, in light of this:

Source close to Bannon tells me "Steve Bannon is 100% not running for President."
