Gavin Newsom’s latest swipe at President Trump may be his dumbest yet, and considering how stupid he is about most everything (especially, Trump), that's really saying something.
The guy actually tried to paint the president as the biggest grifter to ever sit in the Oval Office, all while pretending he’s some kind of clean-hands reformer himself. Classic Newsom move—point the finger anywhere but at his own backyard.

California under his watch has turned into a cautionary tale. Folks are fleeing the state in droves because of sky-high taxes, insane housing costs, and streets that feel more like open-air drug markets than communities. Meanwhile, Newsom’s sitting pretty in a multi-million-dollar mansion that somehow ballooned in value on a governor’s salary. Coincidence? Sure, and I’ve got some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.

The hypocrisy hits different when you remember how his administration has handled everything from wildfire recovery to basic governance. Families are still digging out from disasters while connected insiders seem to do just fine.
Like magic, right?
Newsom loves to lecture about ‘the people’ but his record shows a lot more focus on his own brand and political ambitions. Trump built businesses before politics. Newsom built a political machine that’s left regular Californians paying the tab.
It’s funny how the left suddenly cares about presidents getting rich when it’s not one of their guys. They ignored plenty of insider deals and influence peddling when it suited them.
