The moment Thomas Massie started looking like a game show host, we should have all known something was up with him, and it wasn't a good thing.

Outgoing (whoohoo) Rep. Thomas Massie casually talking about how he and Marjorie Taylor Greene spent their Costa Rica fishing trip (complete with margaritas, apparently) hatching some mysterious 'plan' for where the Republican Party needs to go next. As if any of us want them to have anything to do with where the party is going.
Massie wouldn’t spill the details on camera—naturally—but he did gush that MTG still has her 'finger on the pulse' of what MAGA voters were promised and where they feel betrayed. He called her an 'important voice' going forward, whether she runs for something or just advises the people who do.
Translation: two members of Congress who are voluntarily (or not-so-voluntarily) headed for the exits are already drawing up battle plans to retake the GOP from the outside.
