The New York Times' headline for their Khamenei obituary reads like a love letter: 'Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Hard-Line Cleric Who Made Iran a Regional Power, Is Dead at 86.'
Oh, is that all? Just a quirky cleric who happened to turn Iran into the world’s premier exporter of rockets, suicide vests, and proxy wars? How charming.
This is the same regime butcher whose goons slaughtered over 40,000 innocent Iranians in last month’s bloodbath alone. The guy who spent four decades funding Hezbollah, arming Hamas, directing the Houthis, and turning the Middle East into a flaming dumpster fire of oppression, death, and horror.
But sure, New York Times, tell us more about how he 'shaped Iran’s Islamic revolution far more than Khomeini.'
Peak legacy media fan fiction.

What's wild is they're still trying that anyway, even though they know WE know the truth. It's wild that they haven't figured out how to read the room by now. Then again, this is the mainstream media, so am I really surprised they went this direction? Heck, the Washington Post basically compared the monster to a Santa Claus who liked to read books.
No, I'm not making that up, even a little bit.
