New York City Mayor Eric Adams has taken to X/Twitter to throw some serious shade at his mayoral challenger, Zohran Mamdani, in a workout showdown that’s more entertaining than a season finale of your favorite reality TV show. In a post that’s equal parts flex and roast, Adams contrasts his 'lifetime of hard work' at 64 with Mamdani’s 'silver spoon' at 33, captioning a video of their respective bench press attempts.
In the process, he also came up with a brand new nickname for the entitled, elitist socialist who thinks he should be the mayor of New York City.
Writing that seems crazy, even for NYC.

The video, which has already gone viral, shows Adams powering through reps while Mamdani struggles under the bar, needing a spotter’s help. It’s a classic case of political pettiness meets gym bro culture, and we’re here for every second of it!
