When we first moved to Virginia back in 2016, I had no idea just how absolutely dysfunctional and backward the state really was. Little did I know how much damage the Democrat Party had done to this once red and beautiful state. At the time, we were in the middle of the 2016 Presidential Election and Hillary 'Cankles' Clinton had selected Tim Kaine to be her running mate. One of my very progressive, sucky senators.
Yay me.
Not a good look for the state we'd just relocated to. Nope, not at all.
Living here I have since learned more about why she picked him ... and it's not good. Interestingly enough, in 2018 Republicans magically put up a seriously awful candidate named Corey Stewart, who was not even from VA. Lo and behold, he was an idiot and a huge racist who said terrible things and was easily defeated by Kaine. You might wonder why Virginia Republicans would nominate such a horrific candidate, and I'd just point to the fact that we have open primaries here. *cough cough*
Anyway, I digress.

Dingleberry is up for reelection this year and many of us here in Virginia are trying to unseat him ... hey, they told us Youngkin couldn't win and he did. I can only hope we can appeal to the saner people in the middle and get rid of this career politician making a joke of our state.
