Long ago when I first started writing about politics for a living (when Obama was still president ... I AM ANCIENT) I thought things were crazy. Not sure how any sane person could read what I read day in and day out and not find it all a bit insane. But I've learned to stop saying things like, 'It can't possibly get any dumber or crazier,' because you know what? IT ALWAYS CAN AND DOES.
Case in point, the shirtless pic of RFK Jr. floating around Twitter over the past 24 hours. What the Hell is that all about?
I mean hey, good for him being in shape you know? Especially since he's almost 70 ... but the reactions to the picture, both pro and anti, have been bizarre. Crazy even.

Here's the thing, I get why some Republicans are pushing for RFK Jr., because not only did he stand against the COVID vax BUT he could be a real pain for Biden (who refuses to debate anyone). I'm not quite insane enough to think RFK Jr. should be president though; that whole wanting to incarcerate or even kill people who don't believe in climate change thing kind of left a bad taste in my mouth, you know? Not to mention the guy is a Democrat and has a history of being pretty anti-gun rights.
Think we've had enough Democrats in power to last us a long, long time. Heck, it will take us a long, long time to repair the damage they've already done.
That being said, I love watching the meltdowns, especially when it comes to our smug 'betters' who like to look down on everyone. Jonah Goldberg's reaction is very ... telling.
