Lisa Bloom is over the hate she’s receiving for trying to defend a guy who allegedly sexually harassed hundreds of women over the years, so stop being so mean to her, ok? *eye roll*
"The left can be vicious," a friend said. I'm experiencing that because I believed in the power of apology. I know who I am and what I did.

The Left can be vicious. Ya’ don’t say?
Gosh, we hadn’t noticed. *eye roll*
One of my rules has always been to go easy on people whose lifelong work has been positive. I have learned few believe in that.

Is she saying Weinstein’s lifelong work has been positive because yeah, no. If he spent decades terrorizing women sexually that’s not positive in the least. Guess having the right politics goes a long way with the ‘vicious Left.’
Powerful learning experience last week. I always tell my clients to ignore the hate, but now I truly get their pain.

Poor Lisa.
Was it too much to produce an apology as well as denials on some issues? Apparently it was. That's how it works in court. But not in media.

Someone get us a tissue.
I learned that asking for an investigation and then consequences was controversial.
— Lisa Bloom (@LisaBloom) October 10, 2017
RIIIIIIIIGHT.
To say that other reporting and photos would come out was to state an obvious truth. If I had a nefarious plan, why not execute it?
— Lisa Bloom (@LisaBloom) October 10, 2017
Seems Lisa’s plan was to undermine these women by pretending they somehow brought this all on themselves.
31 years advocating for women, POC, LGBT and others, and hopefully many more ahead. Going to Houston for a DV victim tomorrow. Goodnight.

She’s starting to sound like Harvey Weinstein … ‘LOOK AT ALL THE STUFF I DID, DON’T BE MAD AT ME.’
Not a good look, Lisa.
Accusation that I had a plan to undermine women is completely inconsistent w my entire life's work, which also generates considerable hate.
— Lisa Bloom (@LisaBloom) October 10, 2017
Sure.
It's cool if you think my trying something different to change the usual trajectory was wrongheaded.
I've heard you. Still pondering it.— Lisa Bloom (@LisaBloom) October 10, 2017
K.
But I don't think you'll shake my core beliefs in owning up, apologies, and being respectful.
And you don't change minds by vicious hate.— Lisa Bloom (@LisaBloom) October 10, 2017
Maybe tell that to Harvey Weinstein since he’s the one here who did something wrong?
I hope to take from this a better willingness to listen respectfully to the "other side," and in fact, to avoid "sides" where possible.

Tell us another one, Lisa.
It takes a lifetime to build a reputation and one second to ruin it. Choose carefully.

Sorta like with customer service; one unhappy customer will tell 10 other people. Or in Lisa’s case, 10 million other people
We are too angry with each other as a nation. The most I've seen in my 56 years. I hope I will always remember this experience and be kind.

We’ll believe it when we see it.
