Oops. An 'oversight' on McAuliffe's rights restoration list restores sex offender fugitives' rights

According to the Richmond Times- Dispatch, two fugitive sex offenders appeared in Virginia’s database of felons whose rights McAuliffe restored. Both men have outstanding arrest warrants and active probation violation charges.

Oops.

A spokesman for McAuliffe, Brian Coy, said it was “basically an oversight” and something they didn’t factor into the original piece.

Oops again.

Thanks to McAuliffe’s list, these sex offender fugitives have regained the right to vote, serve on a jury, notarize documents AND run for office.
