Just ONE WORD missing from a headline can TOTALLY change a story.
For example, earlier today the Daily Mail Online posted this:
— Daily Mail Online (@MailOnline) April 27, 2017
Besides the fact that few people are terrified (or even remotely bothered) when a terrorist blows HIMSELF up, a key word is missing from the headline …
Read it closely.
@MailOnline "Blow himself?" You sure about that?
— Keith Burton (@bbeekk321) April 27, 2017
We denounce ourselves.
But we did laugh.
@MailOnline "Blows himself" and "Blows himself" UP are NOT similar activities.

Maybe for a terrorist it’s more similar than we realize?
That ONE word makes such a huge difference; the internet is a funny place.
Editor’s note: This is likely more of a reflection on the immaturity of this editor than the good people at the Daily Mail Online, but still.
