And we thought it was only the Left who would put unions before the kids when it came to education.
Shameful.
The 2 R Senators breaking ranks on DeVos just happen to be that rare GOP breed that gets teachers union money https://t.co/622Rr7IzhZ

As Twitchy reported, two GOP senators will be break rank and vote against DeVos: Lisa Murkowski out of Alaska and Susan Collins out of Maine.
Via The Washington Free Beacon:
Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R., Alaska) and Susan Collins (R., Maine) have each benefited from contributions from the National Education Association. Collins received $2,000 from the union in 2002 and 2008, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Murkowski, meanwhile, has received $23,500.
Gosh, why would two senators who take money from unions want to vote against DeVos? Could it be they know she will put the kids first because she sees unions for the greedy, self-indulgent tools of the Left they are?
Hrm.
@lachlan @guypbenson @FreeBeacon Unpossible – I was told the only bribery in politics is coming from those bloodthirsty NRA bastards!

You don’t normally hear about Republicans siding with unions in this manner, unless of course it’s Collins and Murkowski who ALWAYS seem to magically fall in line with the Left.
Maybe they should just change their party affiliation and get it over with.
@lachlan @guypbenson @FreeBeacon So they can be bought, what a surprise!

Sounds like it’s a definite possibility.
@lachlan @guypbenson @FreeBeacon Now it makes sense as to why they broke rank!!!
