So was Facebook deliberately disrespectful or just lazy and/or sloppy about this emoji “remembrance” for 9/11? Or was it a sideways dig at patriotism?

Gosh, that’s not insensitive, Facebook. That’s not insensitive at all.

Eek: Facebook used a plane emoji to remember 9/11 before quickly changing it to a candle https://t.co/JdpUc67R6A

Not quickly enough and gosh, you’d think they’d be prepared far in advance for the 15th anniversary of the most horrible and deadly terror attack on American soil.

Was this a deliberate diss to the memory of 9/11 or was it just some faulty algorithm? Either way someone at ol’ Facebook figured out this was not ok because they eventually replaced it with a candle.
#NeverForget, Facebook stinks.
