Dearborn Mayor Proclaims His Name Is 'As American As Any Other' (Spoiler Alert: It's Not)

As disheartening as the truth is, there is little question anymore that Dearborn, Michigan, is no longer an American city. The city representing most of Michigan's 12th Congressional District has elected America-hating Rashida Tlaib to Congress, is home to some of the worst anti-American protests in the country, and is led by a mayor, Abdullah Hammoud, who has openly declared that Christian Americans are not welcome there.

Like the mayor of Paterson, New Jersey, another Islamist enclave within the country, Hammoud does not believe in assimilation. He has denounced the idea of America as a melting pot, and will happily watch and refuse to act while Islamist residents of his city violently attack protesters. 

Hammoud is also a firm believer in the concept of taqiyya, obviously, with his recent declaration that his name is 'as American as any other.' Watch: 

First of all, we don't know if Hammoud had a gun pulled on him when he was 11 years old. That's the point. No one can prove or disprove this allegation from 25 years ago, but we know there is no police record of the alleged incident, no identified suspect, and no corroborating witnesses. But Hammoud repeats it as fact. 

We can guarantee, however, that if this did happen, it wasn't because an 11-year-old boy was a Muslim.

Exactly. Color us blue or yellow, but definitely color us skeptical that it ever happened. 

More importantly, 'Abdullah Hussein Hammoud' is objectively NOT an American name, and Hammoud's actions as mayor prove that he is NOT as American as anyone, regardless of what his parents dubbed him.

Unless someone's name is Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, or 'Old Glory McPatriot,' there aren't any names that are inherently American. 

But there are some that obviously aren't. 

It sort of stands out like a sore, America-hating thumb, doesn't it? 

Over the course of America's history, we can't find anyone with that name, or a similar one, who is memorialized in history books as helping build the country that Hammoud seeks to destroy. 

Obviously, that National Archives search engine is 'Islamophobic.' 

... Or something. 

LOL. 

We're not sure if the man standing behind Hammoud was buying it, but he was doing a pretty bad job of pretending to buy it.

More than his name, it is Hammoud's values that are not 'as American as any other.'

It gets even more ludicrous when his claim is attempted with any other nation or culture. 

To its credit, Japan never bought into that whole 'our diversity is our strength' lie. 

Careful. If you mention a 'ham sandwich' in Hammoud's 'American' city of Dearborn, you might get assaulted or arrested (or both). 

HA! 

The last sentence of that tweet concludes, '... have no business being in the USA.' 

At least that part is true, unlike anything Hammoud proclaimed (especially that dubious 9/11 fairy tale). 

His name is not American, certainly not as American as any other, but we honestly wouldn't mind if he called himself Anas Fadi Salim-Shadi, as long as he embraced America.

He clearly does not. He openly and proudly hates it. 

And an Islamist who wants to destroy this country, by any other name, would smell as foul.
