‘Journalists’ constantly preach that they are uber-important because they ‘hold power to account.’ It’s a laughable lie because we see time and time again that ‘journalists‘ are servants of the power they agree with ideologically. Posters say if the story were damaging to Republicans, ABC News would have had no qualms with airing it chock full of ‘anonymous sources.’
This just demonstrates the lack of journalistic integrity in spades. They have no problem reporting entirely false stories from anonymous sources and based on hearsay, but when they have some facts and the guilty party says it’s not true, they shut it down. He is an absolute embarrassment to the profession. You don't get off that easy trying to come clean years later.
