We’re gearing up for the NBA draft, which means plenty of team workouts, mock drafts, and miles upon miles of speculation.
Jeremy Lamb, the star shooting guard who spent two years wow’ing crowds at Connecticut, has been chosen by the majority as a top ten prospect. Depending on his workouts, he may even slip into the top five.
Lamb spoke about how he was hoping to show his competitive nature at the combine, and now he’s really proving it: he’s sitting out this round, advice courtesy of his manager.
At NBA combine: Jeremy Lamb says he wants to show teams how competitive he is…so he's sitting out of running the drills?

Jeremy Lamb says he needs to show he's competitive, but isn't doing drills at the Combine. I got nothing.

Jeremy Lamb is a question mark. Too laid back but a ton of talent

Many who are checking out the NBA Combine, and caught Lamb’s conversation with Andy Katz, are also suggesting he’s not too much of an enterprising character:
Jeremy Lamb is not very good at interviews. Actually, he possibly could be the least articulate person i've heard.

Jeremy Lamb tells Andy Katz that his agent suggested he not to drills today. Probably should have told him not to do that interview, too.

Jeremy Lamb definitely needs to get his interview bars up

Jeremy Lamb gotta get that media training.

Andy Katz talking to Jeremy Lamb is about as exciting as me burning my fingers on my bagel…

Wherever Lamb is considering ending up, sitting out drills and being the most uninteresting person possible in interviews isn’t really the way to keep the stock high.
