Inheritance tax is a vile assault on family and freedom. Robbing a hefty chunk of what parents worked tirelessly to pass to their children spits in the face of the American dream.
What a ridiculous statement. Inheritance tax is immoral. A government punishment and theft on those who built a successful life and legacy (and paid a lifetime of other taxes). A spiteful government punishment tax on families and the bereaved. pic.twitter.com/0dhHyAAIGk

The concept of leaving behind something for your children is Biblical.
The Bible, specifically in Proverbs, states that 'A good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.' This verse suggests that leaving something of value for future generations is a positive attribute of a righteous person. While the Bible doesn't mandate specific amounts or types of inheritance, it highlights the value of providing for family.
If the concept is good enough for God, it certainly should be good enough for the American government.
Inheritance tax isn’t “theft” from those who have built a “successful life and legacy”. It is a tax on those receiving a windfall of unearned wealth.

It’s not “immoral” unless you think people’s life chances should be determined not by what they do — but who their parents are. https://t.co/kLGM0PO2NG
Fair or not, the fruits of our ancestors’ labor should enrich their heirs. It may not be "equal," but it fuels drive and ingenuity, pushing parents to secure their family's future. Life isn’t a level playing field—deal with it.
Why wait until death? Parents provide “unearned wealth” to their children from birth.

Why not just implement your lecherous greed tax on everything a parent buys which might benefit their children? Food, education, electricity, etc.
Be honest about your principles here.
Don't give the Communist Democrats any ideas. If they could take wealth during someone's life, they'd do that, too.
The people who earned it should get to decide where it goes, not the greedy government.

I loathe people like you.

People like that should be loathed. They desire to steal and use the law to do so. It's outrageous and they should be roundly mocked.
No justification has been used to fund more evil than “the greater good.”

Inheritance tax and property tax are both immoral. The state has no right to tax what has already been taxed.

If the state can come in and confiscate your private property when you pass on, then there is no real private property—only what the state allows you to keep.

And who the hell are you to say what’s “unearned?”
In essence, the state claims ownership of all, doling it out as they see fit. The elite revel in opulence while the masses toil to survive. That’s the twisted vision of today’s Democratic Party.
