Would you sign up for super-fancy airport valet parking service that cost as much as a mid-sized car? If your answer is “no”, well, you’re far from the only one.

BURBANK, Calif. — A super luxury valet parking service at Southern California’s Bob Hope Airport is being scrapped because of low demand. Make that no demand.

Not a single person signed up for the $14,600 a year Black Diamond parking option, which offered shortened wait times and reserved, extra-wide, covered spaces.

Extra-wide, covered parking spaces? Where I come from, we call that a garage.

The airport does have a couple other chic valet services that only cost $31 a day or, for those of us with jobs that don’t include splashing around in money bins, a mere $21 dollars per day. So they have that going for them.
