Columnist for The New Yorker calls Latino Senator 'uppity'

John Cassidy is a columnist for The New Yorker who enjoys writing ad hominem attack pieces on Republican candidates, fear mongering, and resembling Nigel Thornberry. Twitchy recently reported on his embarrassing screed about Scott Walker which asked readers to “stipulate up front that Scott Walker, the governor of Wisconsin, is an odious politician whose ascension to the Presidency would be a disaster.” Cassidy personifies the untruth that left wing progressives are open minded.

This week he called Ted Cruz—the son of a Cuban immigrant—”uppity.” Had any right-of-center commentator used that word to describe a Democrat of minority ethnicity, MSNBC would already be presuming his membership in the KKK.

Arguably you could come to that same conclusion just from the fact that the columnist is writing for The New Yorker.
