The student government at The University of California Irvine caused an uproar by banning the American flag from campus. Old Glory, they said, is just a tool for colonialism and imperialism. The indoctrination appears to be proceeding according to schedule.
Thankfully the ban was overturned by the student executive cabinet.
This story isn’t over though. There is a possibility that the veto can be overridden by a two-thirds majority vote by the student body.
