Colorado GOP gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez picked up an endorsement from former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney earlier today. Beauprez, a former congressman, showed his appreciation by cluelessly retweeting left-wing political activist Charles Buchanan’s snide observation: “That should win you 47% of the vote.”

Beauprez deleted the retweet, but not before Buchanan noticed:
