'We're a little naive': Detroit news station posts super awkward Facebook question [pics]

And admittedly so.

The Detroit Fox affiliate wrote, “Wow. Apparently, we’re a little naive,” after asking Facebook fans to explain the meaning of a public art installation involving a fist and a giant vat of Crisco.

Local artist Jerry Vile has created something he calls “Vessel of Hope”. He hopes it may in someway ease the pain of having the Detroit bankruptcy shoved into our faces. Can anyone explain what this means???

Something tells us this isn’t about shoving stuff in Detroit residents’ faces.

Oh dear. The Twitterverse was more than happy to provide the necessary lubrication to ease Fox 2 into understanding the “art.”
