Action alert: Ask Barbra Streisand to answer for funding the work of political terrorist Brett Kimberlin

Good question: does Barbra Streisand know she’s funding a radical political terrorist’s assault on free speech?

The Streisand Foundation provides grants to non-profit groups working on a national level to support environmental issues, women’s issues, civil liberties, civic engagement, education, and civil rights. Oh, and it also contributes to the Justice Through Music Project founded and run by “Speedway Bomber” and serial harasser of bloggers Brett Kimberlin.

Matthew Vadum reports Barbra Streisand “has given JTMP at least $10,000 through her Barbra Streisand Foundation since 2006 ($5,000 in 2006 for general operations and $5,000 in 2008 for general operations).”

Free speech activists are demanding that Barbra Streisand answer for backing the work of a convicted felon who revels in using vicious intimidation tactics to silence people who so much as mention his terrorism.

Did Babs know who the beneficiary of her money was, and that her money would go to terrorizing journalists who dared to write about the “Speedway Bomber?”

Or was she a rube?

Either way, Streisand has a lot to answer for and the Twitterverse is holding her feet to the fire.

Contact the Tides Foundation and the Heinz Foundation about their donations to Kimberlin’s groups and demand that the lapdog media report on this important story.

Make sure Streisand and other funders know where their money is going and force them to be accountable for supporting this thug.
