Cher: I'm sorry for being a hater like Rush Limbaugh

Uh oh. Looks like someone’s PR person gave her a severe tongue lashing.

Tuesday afternoon Cher tried to “turn back time” by quietly deleting her Twitter rant about breathing the cooties of Mitt Romney’s “racist homophobic women hating tea bagger masters.”

But it was too late. Twitchy captured the tweets and our report was picked up by Drudge, Hollywood Reporter, Hot Air, and others. This morning, she was forced to apologize. Not for her ignorance or idiocy, of course, but for being unkind in letting those evil tea baggers know what she really thinks.
