Searchers rescued 4-year-old Jacob from the mud within hours. CBS News has video of the helicopter rescue in Oso, Washington.

Jacob’s mom, Jonielle, was not at home during the devastating Washington mudslide and is also safe. But her husband, Navy Chief Petty Officer Billy Spillers, and three other children, Brooke, Kaylee and Javon, are still among the missing.

Billy’s cousin, Kevin Ryce, reportedly traveled from Pennsylvania to support the family and assist with the search.

“You have to be out here with them, no matter what,” Ryce told reporter Linda Byron.
