Bo Snerdley posed a question about the future of the Republican Party and the Trump voter base.
It is clear that a "wing" of the GOP including Cheney, Haley, Murkowski, Sasse, Cassidy, Romney, and others – believe the Trump voter base will abandon him and they will "take the party back." So – are they correct?

The responses to that question are abundant and one-sided.

Even Bill Kristol apparently believes the GOP is still “Trump’s party.”
Mitch's speech is intended to allow him to go to donors and ask them to help the GOP take back the Senate in 2022. But dear donors, don't kid yourselves: You'd be giving to a party that voted 43 to 7 to acquit Trump. The voice is McConnell's voice, but the party is Trump's party. https://t.co/SKlrNyIqo6

Those who wish to “take the party back” imply that the GOP is somehow captive. The Republican Party coalesces around conservative principles, and Donald Trump has espoused many of those very well.
