Wasting ZERO time, Chris Hayes makes the Manafort and Cohen news about what the Left REALLY wants to stop

Wasting zero time on taking the Paul Manafort guilty verdict and Michael Cohen plea deal to another level, MSNBC host Chris Hayes wonders how the Senate could possibly confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court “amidst all this.”

What exactly does Paul Manafort’s fraud convictions or Cohen’s deal about campaign law have to do with Kavanaugh being confirmed?

Only in MSNBC world would this kind of a connection be made.

If the Senate does not confirm him, he will not be seated. But it should be about Brett Kavanaugh and his qualifications to be on the Supreme Court, not legal proceedings that are tangential to the president.

While the Left doesn’t like to be reminded, Trump was elected president by the American people, who placed him in a position to nominate the successor to Justice Anthony Kennedy.
