SEC commissioner Mike Slive is not in favor of a plus-one proposal for college football’s postseason. Pac 12 commissioner Larry Scott proposed such a format recently. Slive said he believes that that kind of system would narrow the postseason in a way that is not beneficial to all teams.

Slive suggests ten team tourney might get tweaked between now and next year to make it "easier to figure out."
