One of the reasons for early Democratic despair is the fact that Republican Mike Braun has unseated Democrats Joe Donnelly in Indiana to all but defuse any hope that Dems had of retaking the Senate.
IF things go well for Republicans as the night continues, expect a whole lot more of this.
