'Despite being shot': NBC seems surprised that Steve Scalise still acts on principle

NBC News seems stunned to report that Rep. Steve Scalise, who was shot earlier this year while participating in a practice for the congressional baseball game, is remaining true to his principles when it comes to the federal government’s role with guns.

Despite being shot, he “STILL” opposes gun control. Here’s what Scalise had to say about the matter to NBC:

“Don’t try to put new laws in place that don’t fix these problems,” said Scalise, who was gravely wounded on June 14 when a shooter opened fire on the GOP’s congressional baseball team as members practiced in Virginia. “They only make it harder for law-abiding citizens to own a gun.”

When asked if he believed the right to bear arms was “unlimited,” Scalise said: “It is, it is.”

Scalise was shot while practicing baseball by a cowardly individual. He survived and continues to take a stand for the Constitution and individual liberty. This is something that the Left has a difficult time comprehending.
