The Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming has been granted permission by the federal government to kill and/or capture two bald eagles per year. This right was requested by the tribe because it is part of a religious ceremony performed by them. The bald eagle is a majestic symbol of the United States. Additionally, it has been a protected species.
