Now, this had us wondering why there are never exchanges like this between the press and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who under any objective measure has been a worse governor in this crisis than Gov. DeSantis in Florida.
For example, here he is from earlier today threatening to pull vaccines from hospitals that serve minority neighborhoods:
Cuomo says he's going to stop using the hospitals that are slow on vaccination and keep using the hospitals "that are better at doing it."
NYC Health+Hospitals facilities, identified as slow yesterday, mostly serve lower-income, minority neighborhoods.

Maybe Gov. Cuomo can explain his math on how to get everyone vaccinate by not using every hospital?
"We have plenty of hospitals," he says.
How many hospitals does he think are necessary to vaccinate 20 million people twice?

But such an exchange would be impossible with Gov. Cuomo because he refuses to let it happen:
