Senators Rick Scott, Brian Schatz and Josh Hawley call out the NBA over its statement on Hong Kong; Update: Ted Cruz weighs in

Bipartisanship has returned to D.C.? Maybe that’s going a little bit too far, but we’re starting to see some responses to that garbage response we just told you about from the NBA on the Houston Rockets’ GM who dared to tweet, “Stand with Hong Kong.”

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) called the NBA’s statement “shameful” and that they’re “more interest in money than human rights”:

Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) tweeted, “This is a mistake that they should fix quickly”:

And Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) pointed out that the “Chinese govt has a million people locked in concentration camps & is trying to brutally repress Hong Kong demonstrators”:
