This is quite the scoop from Steve Contorno of the Tampa Bay Times.
Andrew Gillum, the Florida Dem who recently lost his race for governor, is the recipient of a federal grand jury subpoena that “demands information on the former Democratic candidate for governor, his campaign, his political committee, a wealthy donor, a charity he worked for and a former employer“:

Gillum denied during the campaign that the scandal that enveloped other Dems in Tallahassee had nothing to do with him:
“Twenty-plus subpoenas have been issued and not one of them has anything to do with me,” Gillum said during the campaign.
But the recent one does.

Yeah, this didn’t hold up:
Gillum: "It should be shocking when a press secretary lies from behind the W.H. podium, unfortunately under Pres. Trump it's just another Monday … It's simply wrong to say Mayor Gillum is under FBI investigation—he’s not under FBI investigation and the FBI has confirmed it."

It was always a risk that this scandal was going to end up on his doorstep:

Gillum told the Tampa Bay Times that “I am confident we always did the right thing and complied fully with the law”:

a
I'm seeing a lot of comments suggesting this subpoena can be ignored bc Trump admin officials have so far not complied with subpoenas.
But there is a VAST difference between judicial subpoenas and Congressional subpoenas. Here's a good explainer:https://t.co/jhwVc9h9do https://t.co/JUu578pZkn
