Well, the Royal Baby finally has a name. World, meet Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor:

But there is a long American tradition of red-headed Archies, so maybe this was the inspiration?
Let's all just respect the power move of a ginger prince naming his son Archie. pic.twitter.com/K3V3n5M7Me

The “Harrison” comes from “son of Harry” and “Mountbatten” is Prince Philip’s old last name before he married the Queen:
The baby's name would be Archie Harrison Windsor if Prince Philip hadn't thrown a tantrum about shoehorning the Mountbatten name into the monarchy for the greater glory of his relatives, stay strong with that problematic hyphen, little guy.

We were told this name would have some American connection:
This is the most Britishy British name I've ever heard. We were promised an American connection! https://t.co/xkcBxIcPpb

And, surprisingly, this fits:

Piers Morgan is already trolling the name (he says he’s serious), wondering why if Archie, which is actually a popular name right now in Britain couple with Harrison is “a striking blow for diversity & feminism”:
So the royal couple, in a striking blow for diversity & feminism, have given their son one of the most popular white middle-class first names, Archie, and a second name, Harrison, that was chosen because it stands for 'Harry's son' (I'm serious..). Hilarious. pic.twitter.com/kV0ezcwNLc
