One thing we’ve noticed in the non-stop coverage of the North Korea-USA summit in Singapore is a lack of coverage from the South Korean perspective. They are the most important country in all of this. What THEY want should be paramount, right?
By ignoring the South Korean perspective American pundits have revealed how totally vapid and insular their little world is. For them the most pressing question is always SHOULD TRUMP GET CREDIT? Not everything is about your never-ending, obsessive, childish Trump soap opera

Which is why we also wonder why this statement from South Korean President Moon Jae-in calling the meeting a “historic feat” isn’t getting more attention:
South Korean President Moon Jae-in, meeting with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Seoul, called the Singapore summit a "historic feat which moved us from era of hostility to era of dialogue peace and propriety."

Be happy for President Moon if you’re not happy with President Trump, at the very least:
If you want to support the peace negotiations but don't want to support Trump, just praise South Korea's progressive president Moon Jae-in for it. He's the real catalyst; Trump's just taking credit.

And what’s even better is that Moon’s Twitter handle is “Moon River 365.” Here’s the full statement where Moon does seem “pretty happy”:

Even Code Pink is a fan!
So much love for South Korean President Moon! ☮Let's continue working for peace! https://t.co/a1dPhsVMer https://t.co/8tvYqkubdB

How about some more Korean voices on TV, ‘eh? Looking at you CNN who sent Spanish-English speaker Jim Acosta to shout questions at Kim:
The historic diplomatic opening is happening because of the leadership of @moonriver365 and the South Korean people who put him in office yet US media (@CNN @MSNBC etc.) have next to know Korean voices on air today offering analysis. We need to do better. #SingaporeSummit https://t.co/h2zNYXaw41
