Breaking news out of France where we’re seeing reports that 4 American women on vacation were the victims of an acid attack in the port city of Marseille:

According to the AP, two of the women were hospitalized for injuries from the acid, two from shock:

The women were all in there 20s:

The women, all juniors at BC, were identified as Courtney Siverling, Charlotte Kaufman, and Michelle Krug, who are enrolled in the college’s Paris program, and Kesley Korsten, a student at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.
A statement from Boston College says all 4 women have been released from the hospital although it’s not clear yet if they will need additional treatment for the burns:
