The New York Times has a piece out today on Anthony Senecal, Donald Trump’s longtime butler at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida. It’s well worth a read in its entirety, but this bit on why Trump hires foreigners on H-2B visas for the club caught our eye:
Donald Trump was heavily criticized at the recent GOP debates for his hiring of foreign workers and said that he had to because Americans didn’t want part-time jobs:
Cruz hits Trump on Mar-a-Lago: "You don’t get to spend years exploiting immigration laws to take advantage of foreign workers."

During the last debate, Donald Trump defended hiring foreign workers for his Florida hotels: https://t.co/QuaTnMG9lX

Another anecdote from the story accuses Trump of lying to guests about tiles in the resort’s children’s suite:
Trump recently hit the New York Times and accused them of not calling “to fact check.” Could this be the article that had him so angry?
The failing @nytimes is truly one of the worst newspapers. They knowingly write lies and never even call to fact check. Really bad people!

Exit question: Why did the campaign even allow the interview to take place?
Sure, let’s give Jason Horowitz access to Trump’s house, said the flak https://t.co/mNJPUfCyN1
